I kept coming back to the idea of pattern mixing with this tweed pencil skirt, which I did so delightfully in this outfit. (Seriously, so much of me just has wanted to re-wear that outfit in its entirety!) Instead, I chose a similarly colored patterned top and an equally vibrant cardigan to get the same silhouette and overall feel. And given that spring isn't quite yet here (almost! almost!), the wintry tweed balances out the springy (even summery) peach cardigan in the same way it did the bright teal one in the original.
With all the peachy tones, including my somewhat bulky bib necklace (a really tricky piece to wear), I added some pops of contrasting color with my turquoise ring and my blue Tano.

Bottom line? I'm all too antsy to break out my spring attire!
This is my favorite color combination. I adore it and you totally rock it! Your skin-tone is awesome with the peach and the skirt and shoes look like they were made for each other. This is perfect for the coming of spring.

ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! I have the same necklace, and I sometimes think it has one too many strands of beads, like it would sit better if the middle strand was gone (or the top, i suppose). It's nice to see someone else wearing it!

ReplyDeleteI re-wear outfits a lot. I don't photograph them for the blog or anything but when I find one that I like and that makes me feel good, what's the point in not wearing it again? It seems sad not to!

ReplyDeleteThat's one thing about blogging that I'm not sure I love - there seems to be an unwritten rule (or maybe it's written in some Blogger Bible somewhere) that you can't wear the exact same outfit more than once. I haven't hit the point where I've wanted to yet, but I'd like to have the option.
